Belantis theme park in Leipzig, Germany, has opened its new themed area, Idefix' Abenteuerland (Idefix’s Adventure Land).
The grand opening marks the first major milestone in a long-term strategic master plan to completely transform the park into Asterix Park Germany by 2030/31.
Headed up by park operators Compagnie des Alpes (CDA), the €5 million development is designed specifically to appeal to families with younger children. The new immersive zone features four brand-new rides, a large custom-designed adventure playground, and regular meet-and-greet opportunities with iconic comic book characters Asterix and Obelix.

The Dutch theme park Efteling has officially revealed the name and design of the highly anticipated new attraction coming to its reimagined Raveleijn themed world.
Named Ravenring, the new ride will invite visitors to participate in an exciting flight ritual when it opens to the public this winter.
Situated just outside the city walls of the magical city of Raveleijn, the new attraction will allow guests to soar through the air in winged vehicles inspired by ravens, the mysterious black birds deeply connected to the lore of Raveleijn.

The brand-new family ride made its debut on 14 May 2026, during the Ascension Day bank holiday, with a celebration rooted in the maritime traditions of the Swedish west coast.

Scheduled to open this summer, the venue will be the first Hard Rock Cafe located within a theme park resort in Europe.
